GRAND CHEROKEE

Early feedback:
The all-new 2011 Jeep® Grand Cherokee was the first full new vehicle to have J.D. Power &
Associates conduct consumer reviews prior to prototype builds.

Selec-Terrain? allows the driver to choose the on- or off-road driving condition - Sand/Mud, Snow, Rocks,
Auto and Sport - to achieve the best possible driving experience on all terrains.

Best-in-class V8: The available 5.7L V8 with Multi Displacement System (MDS) and Variable Valve Timing
(VVT) technology produces 360 horsepower and 390 lb-ft of torque @ 4,250 rpm. It's teamed with the multi-
speed overdrive automatic.
  More power and torque: The all-new Pentastar? 3.6L V6 provides 290 hp (a 38% increase) and 260 lb-ft
(an 11% increase) of torque. It's flex-fuel capable (late availability in CARB states) and is coupled with the
proven five-speed automatic transmission.

Three 4WD systems are available: Quadra-Trac I Full Time 4WD with a new single-speed transfer case,
Quadra-Trac II Active 4WD and Quadra-Drive II with rear Electronic Limited Slip Differential (ELSD), both with
the new two-speed full-time active transfer case.

Quadra-Lift? air suspension system provides height control and lifts the vehicle up to 4.1 inches from park
mode to a best-in-class maximum ride height of 10.7 inches.

Grand Cherokee

Extensive testing:
Jeep engineers will have logged more than 7.5 million customer-equivalent miles by the
time the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee goes on sale.

Improved fuel economy: Fuel economy is 11 percent better than the previous V6 model, rated at 16/23 mpg
EPA City/Highway (V6 4x2 models). This is better than Toyota 4Runner and competitive with Honda Pilot and
Lexus RX350.

Towing excellence: When properly equipped, the all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee can tow up to 5,000 pounds
on V6 models and 7,400-lbs on V8 4x2 models (7,200-lbs on V8 4x4 models).

Stiffer construction: The all-new body structure's torsional stiffness is 146% stiffer. That's stiffer than the
BMW X5 and Toyota Highlander, for a better ride, improved durability and reduced NVH.
